The eighth grade class conducted author interviews of Ellen Raskin who wrote the novel The Westing Game. Two eighth graders did their interviews from two different perspectives: one where the author is “dead” and was being interviewed, the other where the author is older and being interviewed. Overall, the students enjoyed learning about the author’s life and reflecting on the novel.
