Wednesday was Young Author’s Day! The assembly began with a mime explaining the components of a story and the difference between writing for the page and writing for the stage. The students returned to their classrooms and wrote a story. Finn, the mime, chose a few stories and performed them in front of the whole school during the afternoon assembly. The students were quite excited to see their stories performed by Finn. He also taught the students a few basic miming techniques.
