On Tuesday, the teachers and students gathered in the cafeteria to honor and remember those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001. A short prayer service was held followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance.

Tuesday September 4, was to be the first day of school for students in grades 1 through 8, but the excessive heat kept us away. Students met their teachers in the parking lot on Wednesday September 5 where they received jingle bells to ring in the new school year....
