Congratulations to Matt Savoy, an eighth grader, who received a $500 college scholarship from the National Junior Honor Society. There are only 100 of these scholarships given nationally. This scholarship is awarded based on the five pillars of the society: leadership, scholarship, character, citizenship, and service.
