One of our second graders participated in Statistics, an Afterschool class, in which he had to survey other students and display the data using graphs. This was part of a national contest that Karen Manning, the program coordinator and class instructor, had the students participate in. This second grader won first place in his grade level and Honorable Mention at the national level. He received a plaque and $72 for his accomplishments. Great job!
