Congratulations to Cheyenne Harper, Jaylyn France, and Andrew Nagy!
Miss Fabanich’s language arts classes wrote essays on “How can Patriotism be Demonstrated” to enter into the Elks’ Essay Contest. Mr.Chuck Martin from the Elyria Elks presented the following awards.
Cheyenne Harper, grade 7, earned first place and received a certificate and check for $50. Essays written by Jaylyn France, grade 6, and Andrew Nagy, grade 8, finished in the top 5 and received certificates. All three essays will move on to the district level competition. St. Mary students captured 3 of the top 5 places in the contest. Thank you Miss Fabanich for encouraging your students. Good luck to our students as their essays move on to the district level.
